French Language Week

 

Nice - France - Sun 11 to Thurs 15 May 2008 – during the French Language Academic Week
 
Live the way the French do and practice your French Language during our visit to the south of France. Nice is a very beautiful town, with picturesque views of the Mediterranean sea,  narrow streets of the Old town and  footpaths that link up to the hills.
 
Activities: meet your pen pal at school, shop at a traditional food market and cook a typical meal, prepare a French style “Pique Nique”. Explore the old town, hire roller blades or scooter, ride a bike along the sea, swim in the sea, pottery. Discover Monaco, learn about local artists and architecture.  Invite pen pal students for a bowling and pizza evening (in French!).

Educational focus: French Language through History, Arts, Marine Biology, hands on activities and life experience.  A Life skills programme with an individual education plan (I.E.P.) is offered throughout the programme.
