This trip is very popular and a regular on the Travel and Learn calendar. Engelberg is a small village up in the mountains two hours from Zurich. Studnets can choose ski or snowboarding lessons with specialised instructors and supervision by ICS teachers at all the time. There is also the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports and activities after the lessons.

Activities: skiing or snowboarding, sledging, swimming, badminton, rock climbing, ice-skating. This trip is also suitable for 4 year olds with the option of joining the ski mini club.

Educational focus: Suitable for experienced skiers or beginners, this is an opportunity to learn new skills or to improve technique with specialised instruction. Students have the opportunity to do ice skating, rock climbing, sledging and swimming. This trip is a great team building opportunity for students in a totally new and challenging environment. Students learn to take responsibility for their safety and awareness of others on the slopes and become more confident in their own abilities. By learning a new skill or showing improvement students also increase their self-confidence.
